Math Wizards Club

The Math Club plays an important role in motivating the students to learn Mathematics with interest and involvement. It also plays an important role in the interactions between the teacher and students, and generate students’ interest in Mathematics. Mathematics club provides excellent opportunities for students to break away from the monotony of a rigid and structured classroom environment. It gives a valuable aid to teaching Mathematics and also a mean of motivating the students in learning Mathematics.

FUNCTIONS OF THE CLUB

  • Mathematics club helps in tutoring and mentoring the students with low grades in Math and answering students’ queries in Math.
  • It helps in arousing and maintaining students’ interest in Mathematics.
  • It provides the students with opportunities to develop explorative, creative and inventive faculties.
  • It offers an ideal venue for a free exchange of Mathematical ideas and for helpful criticisms of these ideas.
  • It helps in developing heuristic and problem-solving attitude among the student.
  • It provides opportunities for students to practice and apply their skills in Mathematics.
  • It helps to meet the individual needs of the students specifically in Mathematics.
