The Youth for Environment in Schools-Organization (YES-O) is a school-based co-curricular organization established to serve as a significant venue for pupils’ actions and movements towards safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment. It is an organization that provides leadership in formulating policies and standards to collaborate with individual and group environmental actions in all government and non-government organization. YES-O is a students’ organization aimed to wake the awareness and initiative of the people to develop, help the threat of further damage on the environment and it has been a program to promote the awareness of the condition of the environment.
FUNCTION
Lord of Zion Divine School envisions a community of pupils/students, teachers, and administrators that value and actively contribute to the protection and conservation of the environment. Be aware and create awareness in others of the state of the Philippine environment and ecology, including prevailing issues and concerns. Establish specific and doable programs, projects and activities to address issues and concerns on the environment and ecology. Network with other government and non-government organizations, including Youth for Environment in Schools (YES) Organizations in other schools within the division and region, with regard to support and assistance to programs, projects and activities of the organization. Encourage community participation and initiative in environmental and ecological movements and actions, and develop among members and the community proper environmental values, skills, and attitudes.
