Symphony Club

The Symphony Club has been set up to encourage students’ talent in music – instrumental as well as vocal. Members participate in all the activities and programs inside and outside the school. All interested and talented students are encouraged to join as members. Its main objective is to help students retain and enhance their own, individual love of music.  

FUNCTIONS OF THE CLUB

• Music club helps in honing students’ talent in music – instrumental as well as vocal.
• It offers the opportunity to showcase their talents through joining contests and being a part of activities and programs in the school.
• It teaches students who are interested in playing instruments and enhancing their vocal skills through voice lessons.
• It provides entertainments during school activities.
• It gives students a place and a time to focus on their talents.
• It gives students the opportunity to find a richer life through music.
• It guides the students into a better understanding of, and love for music.
• It offers activities and studies which tend to develop the social aspects of life.
• It gives musical training that helps develop their language of music.
• It builds students’ imagination and intellectual curiosity.

AIMS OF THE CLUB

• To train students in the musical concept
• To involve students in activities and programs inside and outside the school
• To instill a habit of music arrangement and songwriting
• To improve students’ musical forte (singing, guitar, piano, violin, etc.)
• To form a choir and perform in the school’s programs
• To teach interested students in playing instruments
• To conduct voice lessons that will enhance students’ vocal skills
• To give entertainment
• To showcase the students’ musical skills
• To strengthen the bond of students who loves music
• To expose students’ talents by joining contests and activities in school
