Zionews

Communicative Arts Club is a club for students who excel in speaking. Members of the club are trained to be field reporters and main anchors of the TV broadcasting team of Lord of Zion Divine School named ZioNews. This club aims to transform the learners to be great in communication through the various programs the club offers. Attached photographs below are behind the scenes during ZioNews filming.

ZioNews-The first broadcasting club of Lord of Zion Divine School. It came from the word Zion and News. It was founded by the President of Communicative Arts Club-Dike Dylan P. Sotelo a Grade 12 student and their adviser, Ms. Princess Zairah Carig. The Club decided to create a page which enables zionistas to be informed on the current issues and activities that is happening inside and outside the school.ZioNews aims to be an effective medium of communication among Zionistas that’s why they formed a Tv Broadcasting team. 25 aspirant reporters aim to be an official main anchors and field reporters but only 15 had given the chance. ZioNews started the Tv broadcasting on August which they first featured the “Buwan ng Wika”. Which is then followed by Freshmen Integration, Foundation Day, Intramurals and Leadership Convergence.

On the 24h of March. ZioNews widens its horizon by covering a celebration which is outside the school. It is the first time that ZioNews covers the State of the Municipality Address which makes the Bacnotan Citizen informed. ZioNews also covers the National Women’s Month and the Earth Hour which happens to be a celebration and hosted by Bacnotan, Municipality. ZioNews sets its foot towards popularity as this page garnered positive comments among netizens.
