Lord of Zion Divine School

The Lord of Zion Divine School (LZDS) is a non-sectarian school duly recognized by the Department of Education to offer quality education to serve the public interest. It exists to serve the educational needs of the citizens of Bacnotan and its neighboring towns in La Union. The governance and leadership ensure the integrity, effectiveness, and reputation of the school through the establishment of policy, provision of resources, and assurance of a quality education program.

The school’s organizational structure and climate facilitate the achievement of its core values. The school and its Board of Trustees promote a collaborative and result-oriented culture dedicated to a continuous and sustainable work environment for students, parents, and the community. The school officials adopt policies and procedures that provide for an effective operation of the school. It permits a democratic atmosphere for the administrative team to implement policies and procedures without interference.

LZDS is a certified FAPE (Fund for Assistance to Private Education) – ESC (Educational Service Contracting) school and is qualified for financial assistance to students who will enroll in Grade 7 until he/she reaches Grade 10 in High School. The school has been granted by the Bureau of Immigration to accept foreign students worldwide who wanted to study in the Philippines particularly in the province of La Union. This institution is also an active member of APSCU (Association of Private School, Colleges and Universities) and LUPRISA (La Union Private School Association).

Philosophy

In pursuit towards quality education geared toward the total development of learners, the LORD OF ZION DIVINE SCHOOL, INC. adapts a set of philosophical beliefs basic to modern teaching expressed in the following concepts:
