  1. Do LZDS offer vouchers?
Filipino citizen students enrolled in Grade 7-10 will apply for ESC grant to receive Php 9,000 and be deducted upon enrolment from their school fees. Grade 10 completers from Public Schools will automatically be qualified in the Voucher Program (VP) subsidy of the government with the amount grant of Php 17,500 and additional Php 1,000 scholarship grant from LZDS to be deducted upon enrolment from their school fees. Grade 10 completers and ESC grantees from Private Schools will automatically be qualified in the Voucher Program (VP) subsidy of the government with the amount of Php 14,000 to be deducted upon enrolment from their school fees. Q:  What is Hybrid Learning? Hybrid learning is a combination of synchronous (online) and asynchronous (face-to-face) learning modalities. Q:  What is a Learning Management System or LMS? Learning Management System or LMS is an application or a system for the administration of documents, reporting, tracking, automation and delivery of the educational curriculum. It involves training programs and development programs to check student progress at any time. Q:  What is eQUIP? LZDS eQUlP is a Hybrid Learning Management System that the school uses to organize and deliver education in different modality or platform in an online and offline basis. It provides sustenance to student learning growth. In LZDS we have Three (3) Modalities in eQUlP Hybrid Learning. Progressive Face-to-Face Learning is comparable to traditional or standard instruction, in which course content and learning are delivered in a physical classroom with live interaction between the teacher and students. The only change is that, in accordance with Joint Memorandum Circular No. 01 s 2021 from the Department of Education and Department of Health – Operational Guidelines for the Implementation of Progressive Face-to-Face Learning Modality, the number of students, school days, and learning hours will be regulated. This involves online studies that are conducted with the aid of chat room platforms (such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, Facebook Rooms, and Messenger). Online communication helps learners stay in touch with their teachers and fellow students which makes the education interactive. A modality of learning that can be carried out online and OFFLINE. This involves coursework or modules delivered by web, email, traditional mail, SMS, via phone calls, message boards posted in online forums or Group chats. The method of learning can be attained even with weak internet access or without internet connectivity. The modality of delivery is student-paced. Q:  Will there be orientation or training programs for eQUIP? Ans:    Yes, there will be orientation and training programs for students, parents and guardians regarding the use of LZDS eQUlP before the opening of school. We will update you on the following schedules of trainings via zoom, fb messenger room or school visit. Q:  What is the modality of learning used for students for the Academic year 2022-2023? Ans:      The school will employ the Hybrid Learning modality. Q:  What if we have weak internet or no internet access at home? Asynchronous learning modality is given with the help of our eQUlP Learning Management System. Instructions and modules will be handed out by the teachers and constant communication is advised to check the students’ progress. Q:  If we do not have internet connection and the mode of learning is modular (asynchronous), who will get the modules from home to school and vice-versa? It is the responsibility of the student to get his or her materials and modules in school with the help of the parent or guardian. However, If the situation does not allow you to go out and get the modules, you may get the services of LZDS eQUlP Express. LZDS eQUlP Express is a school service that you can avail to get your child/children’s study modules and materials. Service Fees may vary depending on your home location. Q: What makes LZDS unique? We offer eQUlP Hybrid Learning system. Our system is tailored-fit to students’ needs in terms of our curriculum materials and methods used in delivering education in three (3) different modalities. We are ready and prepared in all aspects of learning with or without physical settings. Our system is licensed third-party providers (Quipper, Genyo, and TechFactor) that deliver learning continuity, provide evaluations, and brings online video and digital materials to any form of electronic device. Q:  Is there an increase in Tuition Fee this coming school year?  LZDS has NO INTENTION of increasing its tuition fees this academic year 2022-2023. You can check and verify our online enrollment system link for this year’s tuition fee. Why? Because we understand the country’s situation and every family’s burdens. LINK: https://enroll.lzds.edu.ph Q:  Are we requiring our old, new or transferees to be fully vaccinated for the Academic year 2022-2023?  Upcoming students are not required to be fully vaccinated. But rest assured that the school will strictly follow the necessary health protocols mandated by the Department of Health and Department of Education for the conduct of limited face-to-face learning. The LGU, Department of Education and Lord of Zion Divine School will update all students regarding the schedule of classes accordingly. Q:  What is the difference between Hybrid Learning and Homeschooling? In eQUlP Hybrid Learning, the school most especially the teachers, have the responsibilities in teaching all students, whether it is Face-To-Face, Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning modalities. Parents and Guardians are there to aid and monitor their children’s progress in the said program. In homeschooling, parents accept total responsibility for the education of their children rather than transferring the bulk of this responsibility to an institution whether public or private school. In addition, tuition fees for homeschooling vary in private school regular fees and parents are accountable to the child’s learning growth. LZDS does NOT offer homeschooling program.
  1. What if there will be transmission inside the school premises?
The School Administrator developed contingency plan for closing classrooms or schools if students or staff contract COVID-19. If one or more students or staff persons in a class is confirmed to have COVID-19, that class is suspended for 14-day to 21-days and under the approval of the DOH and Local government. Sanitation protocol is implementation throughout the campus.
  1. How many days do the students need to go to school for the Limited face-to-face classes?
Students are required to report in school three days a week, 5 to 6 hours a day for grades 1- 12 and 4 hours a day for nursery and kindergarten. The remaining two days will be allotted for the synchronous or asynchronous learning.
